👋 We are Toti and Ale, and Naples is quite literally in our DNA. We were both born in this chaotic, beautiful city before life took us to London, where we spent over a decade building our careers as professional travel content creators.
Our perspective of Naples is unique because it’s lived from two worlds. Ale grew up with a foot in London’s global pulse while maintaining a deep, lifelong connection to her Neapolitan roots. Toti was “boots on the ground” well into his 20s, living the raw reality of Naples’ streets before moving to the UK.
Today, as “slowmads,” we spend months at a time back in our home city. We don’t just visit family; we obsessively explore every alleyway and observe how Naples is evolving through its recent tourism boom. We’ve seen the city’s heart stay the same even as the world finally discovers its magic.
